This time we are heading NORTH..
to the awesome state of KENTUCKY !!!!!!!!!!!
We are going to visit THE ARK ENCOUNTER..
This is a place that has a full size structure that is built by the dimensions given in the Bible..It spans 510 feet long, 85 feet wide, and is 51 feet high. It is in Williamstown, Kentucky halfway between Cincinnati and Lexington on I-75.

We traveled from Athens, AL and reached our destination in approximately 5.5 hours.
We reached our destination about an hour early...
If you want to take this trip and
experience this VERY cool ark,
you want to get there before it opens and get in line.
We got there early, and as you can see the line had already formed, and
we had to stand in the sun for quite a while.
You can use the self service machines (use a card) to purchase your tickets or you can go through a customer service person.
After you pay for your ticket, you board a bus and are taken to the area where you will walk a short distance to the ark itself.
The architecture on this ark was absolutely amazing.
There is so much to see inside this awesome sight you really have to go to enjoy it...I don't want to post ALL of my pictures...GO SEE...ENJOY !!!
